Candi's on a Thursday is quite alright

I decided to stop at Candi's on a Thursday, early evening. This wasn't my first time there, but it has been a while. For reference the day shift is from 2pm-9pm and night shift is 9pm until closing time. During the day shift dances are $5 each and in the the night shift dances are $10 each - nobody ever really said this, but there is a piece of paper taped to the mirror with the prices.

The day shift dances seem like an unbelievable value BUT they run up the count on you. At the end of the second song, I say " thank you for the dances that's two, right?". She responds with "that's four." Ok - I had planned to pay $10 a dance anyway, so it shrinks to a really good value.

I don't think one should expect a lot going into a hole in the wall club at 7pm, but Candi's very much exceeded expectations. There were 8-10 dancers on the shift, all looked nice - I would have gotten dances from any of them. Some looked very, very nice. Body types were across the board - from curvy to athletic, and a couple managed both at the same time.
