Slow night after a Jays playoff game
Went to the Upper Rail on a Thursday night after the Jays (away) game during the Seattle Series. I frankly expected the place to be bumping, but it was a ghost town.
You walk up the stairs and pay the bouncer (I think $30). Bar on the right, stage on the left, and VIP booths also in the back left corner. There were like 3-4 small groups and a couple of solo customers with a lot of bored, but hot, women waiting for the place to get busy (which never happened). Saw girls walking back and forth from the area downstairs, so I assume it was also slow down there.
Decided to stay for a couple beers and, probably because it was dead, had a pretty steady stream of dancers approach me. Was not really there for a dance, so just watched stage shows while nursing two beers. From talking to a few of the dancers, they said it was much crazier on the nights the Jays were at home.
