Dead Club

I stopped into Sonny’s on a recent mid week afternoon. I arrived around 4:00 to a fairly empty parking lot, that was a bad sign. They’ve got a “No Firearms Allowed” sign on the front door, I don’t know about you, but I doubt that would stop anyone. Anyways, no cover charge or ID check, bouncer just waved me in.

The club was dead, as in nearly empty dead. There were 2 guys at the bar and I spied 2 dancers in the club. Yikes. I grabbed a spot at the bar and ordered a Bud Light, the fact that it was only $4 was the highlight of this trip.

On to the 2 dancers, I’d rate one as a 6 and the other as an 8. They were each doing 2 songs on the stage with a 2 song break between each of their sets. I tipped a few bucks to each here and there, they seemed appreciative.
