sinclair's Review
I went to The Office Gentlemen’s Club on a Saturday night at 21:15. The Office shares a long building with Playmakers Bar and Grill. The Office is on the left and Playmakers is on the right side of the building. Sand volleyball courts are located to the right of the sports bar. There was a $5 cover charge to get into The Office. The doorman checked me for weapons with a metal detector wand. The ATM is located near the door and has a $300 maximum withdrawal with a $5 fee per transaction. The bar is on the left wall, which is essentially straight ahead as you enter. Sincweisers were $5. A glass of Dr. Pepper with ice from the fountain gun was $5. Husker Bombs were $6. The stages are in the middle of the room. They are two large squares that are partially adjacent, so dancers could walk from one stage to the other. One stage had a central pole, while one stage was just a tabletop. There were four video slots on the back wall, and two pool tables in the back right of the floorplan. If you want food, it can be made at the kitchen at Playmakers and brought to you by a staff member through a connecting door in the right wall. The music was mostly a mix of rock and pop, played by DJ Sam Spade. He did a good job of calling out dancers names and making announcements without overdoing it.
Private dances take place in one of three coves built into the front wall. Each cove has a couch that is about four feet wide facing inwards towards the club. Black curtains are drawn across the openings, so there is privacy from the rest of the club. However, there are cameras in the private dance rooms. Touching the dancers is okay as long as you don't go for their genitals. Private dances are $30 per song or four songs for $100. In the back wall there is a full enclosed VIP room with a shutting door. The VIP room is $330 for thirty minutes.
Dancers would do two song sets on stage. Most dancers didn’t even take off their tops, which was disappointing. Due to local laws, dancers must wear pasties over their nipples. Tipping at the stage seemed fruitless with many of the dancers. Only a few would give Stevies. I only found two of the twelve dancers to be hot enough to take for private dances. If you like washed out Cubaniches with bodies sculpted by a diet of rice, beans, and cooking oil, they seem to be invading Nebraska strip clubs, and The Office is one such venue. In all honesty, I found the young cowgirl bartending to be the most attractive female during my visit.
