Slower night while stopping in the city
Was driving up the east coast and made a point of stopping in Baltimore for the first time to check out a club. The Ritz seemed like it was in a more off-beat neighborhood suiting my style than the strip, though there was some loitering outside the club. Paid the $15 entrance fee and took a seat at the stage, where you could see both the bar and the balcony in the mirror behind it to check out who else was around.
The girls were alright, but definitely not out of the ballpark so a little disappointing. But while I was sitting at the stage they were not pushy about dances at all, and it wasn't until I sat in the lounge under the balcony that I had some come up and ask. The first girl I took was one I noticed in the mirror when I first got there, though I realized she had fakes once she started talking to me about our Hondas. The second was a cooler punk/metal chick who I got to talk with about the music scene in Baltimore as compared to my city in Virginia (hence the visiting Baltimore to go to a strip club.)
There was a deal on dances since it was an off night mid-evening, I think 3 for $75 or so plus tip. It took tipping a $20 to see some extra from the metal chick at the stage when she wasn't showing it initially, but it turned out that the managers only wanted bottomless dances in the VIP booths and would reprimand the dancers for showing/touching too much in the seats (which made me more glad to have to seen hers at the stage despite it taking an extra tip!)
