How to be Invisible in Lincoln
I was a first time visitor and this was my first club visit in Nebraska. I arrived at about 10:30pm. I was staying at a hotel a couple blocks away, so I arrived on foot. The neighborhood was fine. The club itself is appropriately lit. The clientele are clearly local regulars. The DJ was fine if a little corny. Typical small city club.
I walked in and paid a $5 cover. There were about a dozen girls working, mostly 6-8s, white, Latina, black. If you like thicker girls, this place has a couple nice ones for you. The club is small with a small main stage and a bar along one wall. Girls did a 5 minute stage set which most people didn’t pay much attention to. And then they went back to their friends, regulars, or their phones. Zero engagement. I sat for around 90 minutes. In that time, exactly one girl came to offer me a dance. She asked with all the interest and enthusiasm of a person taking a survey for minimum wage. I passed due to her lack of even minimal eye contact and she just wandered off without another word. There were 3 girls within 5 feet of me just scrolling their phones. No customers, they weren’t even talking to each other. Didn’t even look in my direction.
Drinks were reasonable. I paid about $12 per shot for top shelf bourbon. The bartender was the best part about this place. I didn’t get her name, but she was very nice and poured generously. I have no idea about the prices of anything else.
Bottom line: If you’re not a local, don’t bother. The girls here are just hanging out with what I assume are the regulars. I had $500 to spend. I spent $50 on drinks and nothing else. If you want to have a drink and watch a pretty girl dance for a couple minutes, this place works. If you’re looking for anything more, you might need to show proof of Lincoln residency.
