A night at a small, unusual club in NoVA
A small space with two stages: one right as you walk in, and a smaller stage in the smoking section. The club is clean, the restrooms were clean, and as you walk by the kitchen there's nothing concerning. It's not a Michelin star restaurant, but you shouldn't expect it to be. There's no DJ, dancers pay for songs from a jukebox at the entrance. There was a very chill bouncer that didn't ID me, just asked if I'd been there before. It's well lit; you can see the entire place from anywhere (except for the private rooms) and there are small lamps at each table if you want more lighting.
When I arrived (around 10pm on a Tuesday) there were more dancers than customers, but it slowly filled up as the night went on. I left around 1am, and by that point there were more customers than dancers.
The beers were ~$10/pint and there was a limited liquor selection as well as champagne. I think you might be able to buy cigars in the smoking lounge, but I didn't venture back there to check.
