Know when to go, otherwise you'll be left bored
Arrived at Queens Cabaret on a Saturday night recently, and left a bit underwhelmed. The place has more night club vibes than other clubs, and is known to be an after hours spot, open until 4-5 AM.
I got there about 30 minutes after they opened, which was my first mistake, as it was totally empty except the bartender and security. I bought a beer and sat down. The bartender/manager came over and apologized for the lack of action, promising to get dancers in ASAP, and comping me my next beer. A few other customers came in and out, but the place was largely empty. Finally, after over an hour of scrolling my phone and watching the video screens, a few dancers and additional bartenders arrived, as did a few customers. I got a prime seat near the front, as two dancers finally got on the pole and started dancing.
I chatted up the dancers, a cute redhead and a brunette, after throwing them a few singles, and eventually the brunette approached me and asked if I wanted a private dance. We went upstairs, where the manager negotiated a price of $250 for 15 minutes, which shocked me, as I was used to cheaper clubs, but considering I was comped a drink and paid no entry fee, I said yes. My dancer was white or Hispanic, and sat me down on a couch in the far corner of the floor. She was pleasant, if a bit stiff, and I didn't feel the intimacy I was looking for. After the dance, I went back down and watched a sexy black woman on the pole for a bit, before giving up and leaving.
