Blandsville
Arrived quite early - probably too early. Self-parked in the parking lot that is functional, and with no potholes! Paid $5 to the doorman - emptied my pockets - walked through the metal detector - patted down by doorman because my belt caused a beep - handed over my keys (apparently this is necessary because it is their commitment to making sure intoxicated people leaving their establishment don't drive - the doorman pointed to a sign that said that) - got a key receipt in return. Went inside. No further entry fee required.
The basics, for the sake of the review: Moderately sized place. Light enough to see, but enough ambience for dances. Stage in the middle - no one was dancing on it when I was there. U-shaped Bar. Paid $7 for a beer.
Two hispanic dancers - the rest were white - about 4 of them were sitting around the same gentleman, 2 more on the far side in a booth, one with another customer on the left side of the bar - the others few just sitting there. I would say all of them in about the 4-6 range. Maybe they were waiting for the place to get busier? Or waiting for preferred customers? Some headed off to the dressing room. One dancer approached me. Offered a $20 dance. I declined. She was giving off a bored vibe when she asked me. The whole place was doing the same thing. Nothing about it inspired me to want a dance. So I called it quits after finishing my beer. Decided to head to Vivide instead...where I figured the dancer count/attention would be better. Collected my car keys from the doorman, walked to my own car.
