C. My experience
Out of curiosity, I decided to visit this adult bookstore that also features a live performance stage. Since I went in the afternoon, the performance area wasn’t very crowded. There were five dancers—more performers than patrons at the time. Each dancer took turns on stage, gradually removing clothing until fully nude.
The dancers appeared to be older, perhaps in their 40s or 50s, and in terms of attractiveness, I would rate them around 4 out of 10. Given the run-down location, I wasn’t expecting much more.
Private dances are available at $20 per song, but dancers keep their panties on and touching is not allowed. A drawback is that there’s virtually no privacy—patrons receiving dances are visible in the open area. Because of this, I wasn’t interested in staying for a dance and left shortly after.
That said, the smaller venue does mean you get plenty of attention from the dancers. Unlike in larger clubs, you don’t have to compete with other patrons, and it’s easier to spend time talking with the performers without feeling pressured to buy overpriced drinks
