Local Watering Hole with a View

I found myself in town unfortunately visiting family at the Hopkins' Bayview hospital. In need of a distraction I decided to check out the Baltimore scene. It's been over a decade and a quick google search showed me sadly that quite a few of the establishments have been closing down across town. However Haven's was still open so I decided to check it out since it was relatively close. A 10 minute ride later I parked in the side lot and made my way in.

The layout of the place is more hole-in-the wall bar than a gentleman's club. A large bar runs the length of one wall with a small stage (approx. 7'x7') at one end. A step up leads to the rest of the room which is littered with 6 or so tables across from the bar.

As it was early in the evening the bar was fairly empty with about half a dozen other patrons and 3 girls sitting/chatting with customers. When I walked in the bartender MJ was on stage so as I sat down at the bar was served by an older gentleman that was watching the bar during her set. Beers are $5 for domestic and $6 for imports. I later found out mixed drinks are $10. Very reasonable for a bar with a view..
