Classy venue, hot girls but don't expect any mileage

Having visited a number of SCs in Canada and the USA, I was intrigued what England had to offer and how these clubs could stay in business with the knowledge that everything was strictly air dances. So I took one for the team and went and visited one of the two Platinum Lace clubs near Leicester Sq in Central London.

The location is just off the main square with a low key entrance. 2 bouncers outside, respectful and welcoming - they let you in and you walk through the halls to get to the area you pay cover. Cover was 20 GBP and you're pointed towards the entrance to the actual club area. To your left is a long bar with a couple of bartenders and to your right is a set of stairs going towards the stages on your left and private lap dance rooms to your right. I found the bar the best place to hang out as when you turn around from ordering the drink the you can see the entire club which includes a smaller stage right that is elevated to eye level of the bar and a larger stage beyond that.

Near the bar are a series of small tables you can sit at to watch the elevated stage. In the "pit" area are lots of tables that were half filled on a Wednesday night mainly by guys sipping on beers and enjoying the show. I noticed not many people were getting dances. All of the workers (security, bartenders, servers) were very friendly.
