Clean club that is holding its own while other Toronto SCs implode
My most recent visit to Brass Rail took place just after midnight on a Saturday. It's now early fall but it was just before the Maple Leafs play their first home game of the season. I mention this because the Rail can reliably be expected to have about a ~30% attendance boost which is reflected in both customers and dancers (plus vibe) on Leaf home game nights. Despite no Leaf home game, this night the club was near capacity - a welcome change from my last visit where the club was oddly about half-full even though that was also a Saturday night.
Never a thug factor to speak of here as they rarely play rap music and ask patrons to remove ballcaps when they enter. Bouncers here take care of that stuff quickly and firmly.
Dancer-wise...well, this place is still relying on a core of dancers that have been here for many, many years. They are attractive, mind you. But if you've been here a few times before, you'll recognize faces. The breakdown was probably 60% white, 15% South Asian (i.e. Indian), 15% black, and 10% East Asian. Lingerie is the clothing of choice with a few girls sporting bikinis. Most girls are in their 30s, and some who are in their 40s but they could pass for 35. A few scattered 20-somethings but they aren't really the norm here. Attractiveness would be 7 to 8.5. Maybe a rare 9 in there.
