Needs Some Improvement

Was in Atlanta for business and decided to check out the ‘new’ Follies.

The exterior of the club isn’t much. It looks like an old restaurant that has seen better days. The lot is fenced in with cattle guard gates to control entry and exit. I was greeted by a young man who told me front parking was $10 and parking in the rear was $5. In addition, entry fee was $5. I gave the young man $10 and parked in the back of the lot. Since it's a relatively small lot, I couldn’t see the advantage of front parking. In addition, there were two other young men who I guess were supposed to be security.

Upon entry, the club is dark, dingy and loud. To the left of the door was the seating area, directly ahead the stage area. To the right front of the stage was the VIP dance area and apparently the dancer’s dressing room. To the right rear of the stage was the food prep area and the restrooms. The bar was along the back wall. To the far left was a raised area for semi private dances that I think went for $30. Table side dances were $10 and VIP was quoted at $60 for the room and $200 to the dancer.
