Made a New Friend
In my previous review of this club, I made the mistake of assuming that most readers were familiar with this long-standing New Jersey institution, and would be most interested in the dancers, some of whom are also of long standing. For those contemplating a first visit, either from out of town or local let me add some additional information. It is worth noting that this club is worth visiting for those new to the area or just here for a short time. At the risk of sounding like a shill, the club has been here for decades, and never disappoints.
The constant tip parade consists of dancers will approach the customers seated at the bar and either rub your back, leg or elsewhere to signal their friendliness, and offer a couch dance (CD). These dances take place in private booths equipped with a door that has the bottom few inches removed, a generous bench, and a container of wet wipes. Dances are timed for $30 per 4 minutes. I voice on a public address system announce the number of dances for each numbered booth. Hence there is no funny business in counting dances.
Universally these are high mileage dances. Most of the dancers carry tubes of lube and are quick to use it. The famous Penthouse handshake is generally included in the price of the dances. Tipping is appreciated, but generally not demanded. There are a few dancers who request tips up-front, but will usually take no for an answer, if that is your preference. I understand that a few dancers will expand their menu with appropriate incentive.
My experience has only been with the day shift. The dancers tend to be a little bit older than you might find in other clubs, as are many of the patrons. Many of the ladies are Brazilian and most are attractive.
My most recent was just after noon on a Wednesday, when I decided once again to stop at the welcoming pink building on the southbound side of Route 130, just south of the car dealership. The room was dark and almost empty as they had just opened. I paid my $10, got a bottle of water and took a seat at the large rectangular bar. You may bring in beer or wine. No alcohol is sold. The bartender assured me that dancers would be along soon. A few other guys came in, and a few dancers emerged one by one from the back.
