Thursday afternoon better than I remembered

Visited SR on a recent Thursday afternoon after taking a look at the online lineup and seeing a couple of names that I was interested in. In the past, day shift on Thursdays has been pretty dead even with the 30 minute VIP specials, so I was surprised to see a sizeable lineup. It's a $10 cover to get in, which includes a free non-alcoholic drink (a bottle of water in my case). They do insist on scanning your ID, which I did reluctantly.

Once inside I discovered that the website wasn't lying about the size of the lineup. It was already in the teens when I arrived a little after 1pm and it was close to 20 by the time I left. The number of customers also grew as the day went on. Never did it feel busy but it never felt dead. There were dancers on stage continuously so I didn't have to sit through long periods with an empty stage, something that's been a significant problem with this club in the past. Girls were visible and circulating rather than just hiding in the dressing room, so overall the vibe in the club was better than I can remember for day shift.

The lineup was the usual mix of Latinas, whites, a couple of black girls and one or two asians. There were a couple of fatties but overall most of the dancers looked reasonably fit. I've heard some people say that SR's recent hires have been low quality and that wasn't the impression I got this afternoon. Not up to the very high standard of some years back certainly but there were enough attractive women that one could enjoy the stage show and consider getting dances.
