Thirsty Thursday

Back again to Clancy‘s this time on a Thursday afternoon after work. I’m starting to think the reviews of this place or driving popularity because it was much more crowded than it’s ever been during an afternoon visit for me. I’ve reviewed this place a number of times but I’ll go through the specifics once again. It’s located in a residential neighborhood on a relatively main street with houses around it. It’s attached to a liquor store with really no sign other than marked by a red door. Parking today was harder than normal, but I found an easy spot on the side street & a short walk to the building.

When I walked in, I was expecting my normal light crowd, but today almost every seat at the bar was full. It was busier than normal with pretty much every dancer walking around for tips and two girls on stage at once. Spanish music was playing as normal. There is a sign behind the bar with the dancers names. Today I paid a little more attention to it, to try and remember some names.

I like this place because the tip parade is relatively easy. You can get cheap drinks and I got a miller light for $6 and left a small tip. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I did end up finding a seat at the bar and proceeded to try and meet some of the girls as they came around. The stage in the middle is really small. There were two girls dancing on it firly constantly. You can walk up and tip them as much or as little as you want. They are good about allowing a cheap feel. One off stage, the girls are either sitting with regulars, sitting on their phones in some unused space behind the bar with couches, or walking around and taking dollars from the from the customers.
