Price Gouging

I was visiting Seattle for the first time and wanted to check out a club. Pandora's and Kitten's appear to be the favorites on this site but they were pretty far from where I was staying downtown. I didn't have a car and therefore didn't want to drop $100 on Ubers roundtrip and settled for Devil's Triangle as they offer a free uber voucher on their website which covered my rides both ways. Unfortunately, this was the only "value" that I found all night.

Cool exterior and the club is down a flight of stairs. $30 cover is pretty damn steep but I do understand that they have a great location in a nicer area of downtown in an expensive city and can rely on some foot traffic from passerbys as well. I go inside to a pretty barebone small strip club room with one stage and some chairs surrounding. Roughly 10 girls working. No alcohol. Most girls get naked by the last song on stage. There's somewhat private booths for lap dances on the far wall of the main room and then a back room for more dances and VIP in more private environs. The interior does its job but does not align with a $30 cover by any means.

Speaking of money not aligning, the lap dance booths in the main room read "$30 per dance" and the back room has a sign that reads "3 dances for $120". That is already borderline highway robbery, but I come to find out that those figures are just for show. Those prices were not honored by a SINGLE girl I spoke with all night. It was just an endless string of hustle and GPS with girls setting their own price for dances. Everything from $40 - $60 for a single topless lap dance!!! And then the backroom dance deal ranged from $140 - $200 for 3 dances depending on the girl and some of them told me those wouldn't be nude. I just could not stomach these prices for a place that most likely isn't going to result in anything approaching extras. While most of my strip club experience is in more affordable cities, I still think these numbers are a ripoff in any town.
