Ideal for first trip to SC. Skip the second.

If you reverse engineered the ideas that have made Desire one of the highest rated clubs in the US, and then did the exact opposite, you would have something close to Foxy Lady. I could be wrong about this; I've been to Foxy Lady once in the last decade. It was Wednesday afternoon around 6:00. GPS gets you close, but you can't actually see the club from the road, so you have to watch for the unobtrusive sign. (GPS was even worse getting me out; I could see 95, but Toyota's navigator took about 10 minutes to get me on it.)

There's a large front parking lot with a sign quoting a price for valet parking (but no sign for where the free parking is.). The front parking lot was about half full, so I expected a moderately busy club. I parked in the lot behind and below the building, which was empty. It's a large building. I walked past three doors before coming to an entrance. The guy in the vestibule greeted me with, “You ever been here before?". Desire assumes everybody's a regular; these guys apparently expect most people to visit only once.
