Friday Night Pit Stop: Pretty Good Mileage

Every now and then I pop into this place. This time I took a flyer from a guy on 8th ave and walked in with it. I didn't actually look at it. When I got there just said "I got this from the dude". Turns out the flyer doesn't get you anything other than a $20 cover and $3 bag check. This was around 8pm.

This place has a low ceiling and is mostly two sections: a narrow bar space with a small go-go stage, and a bigger lounge with a small stage for two dancers. You can wander into either space. I never get escorted to a seat, although I never go late. It's nice and dark. Stella bottles are $12.

I think I get hustled a little more in the lounge than the bar. If I want to chill out I'll sit at the bar and drop a dollar or two on the little stage for the dancer every song or so. It takes about half a smile to get a dancer to come up to you once she's done on a little stage. There were only about a dozen dancers at the most.
