Not what it was
This used to be one of my favorite places. What happened?
Thursday afternoon at about 3:00. There was no cover and a bottle of water was $5. The place is on a fairly busy road, but there were only about 6-8 patrons at this time. There is a large rectangular bar surrounding two stages and seating about 30 people. Dancers usually enter the stage by descending a staircase from the second floor. Additionally, there are about a dozen high top tables away from the stages and bar which are not frequently used.
On this day there were less than 10 dancers. Most were imo about 20-30% overweight, not my preferred look. Stage dances were unenthusiastic, and most dancers barely acknowledged the bar patrons as they collected their tips - just grab the dollar or two, mumble a quick thanks with a plastic smile and move on. After one rotation through all the dancers I called it a day and left.
