It was on my way to somewhere, but still an utter waste of time
As others have said, the building is an old VFW hall in a residential neighborhood. The lot is NOT dirt like some reviewers say, just beat up asphalt, and safe enough to drive on. One door into the building, tiny airlock, then step into the one large room. There is a metal detector there now, and while it beeped when I walked through, no bouncer was present nor did the bartender care. Walked straight in and took a seat.
Maybe my 4th time visiting ever, 2nd since after place got sold (and my last was directly after, so there has been some time that has passed since). Stopped in on way to meet friends in PVD, arrived around 1:40, and there was a 1PM Pats game so I thought perhaps the place would be active. Boy was I wrong. Nice large TVs with sports on, but for the first 15 minutes, there me, a bartender, and some dude sitting at a table in a dark area of the club. Nothing makes you feel more comfortable than seeing zero human beings except for one lurking out of visual range in the shadows. Club lighting and laser lighting going. Overall not too dark, but it has spots that are in shadows, and I'm not referring to the lapdance booths.
I was gonna have a been no matter what. The bartender was quick to serve me and while friendly, didn't offer her name or chat me up. I started watching games and waited for a bit. She positioned herself on the opposite of the bar and seemed lost on her phone, never did come back to talk to me. Finally I hear some sounds to my right and see a middle-aged white guy in a colorful shirt at the bar, and I figure he just re-appeared after some dances. He left immediately, and I sensed very large WOC approaching, Cocoa, and she sat next to me and introduced herself. No show on the bar or dancing of course. Got right to the point after I told her I hadn't seen the new downstairs room and asked if she could show it to me. No, can only see it if I spent $140+ on a VIP. Not with her and not sight unseen especially based on other reviews. She then punted and immediate put a couple of different offers up for discussion, both stupidly overpriced. I didn't laugh in her face, just told her the prices were far too high. Then she asked about just a regular dance, and based on the convo so far, I declined. Her response was to go sit by herself at a table and occupy herself with her phone. Given zero other customers, she would have been wise to lead with much lower rates, but her weight would have given me pause in any event.
