Poor decision

Walked in about five minutes after five and immediately knew I was wasting my time. The parking lot was half full. Never a cover charge and no door man the door was propped open, it was gloomy outside and the mood inside wasn’t much different.

I walked in and started to walk to the backside of the bar past the bathroom towards the private rooms. It looks like they are enclosing the stripper pole stage for a third private room. That’s new to me. There was no seats anywhere along the back and open side of the bar so I walked around to the corner by the pool table and sat in the corner. The bartender came over and sold me a bottle of water for $2.50.

It was clearly a bad time of day to be there because every dancer that caught my eye went straight into the changing rooms and after a few minutes I watched them leave. This continued for about a half hour, watching a few of my go to good times walk out the door before I decided not to order another water.
