In Austin on Tuesday night, I read TUSCL and identified this club as one of the few area clubs offering any mileage, so I decided to give it a try. It is a bit of a drive from Austin, but easy to find on the northbound I-35 access road. The massive parking lot was well-lit and, to my surprise, more than half full on a Tuesday night. I think I arrived around 9:30pm.

I was shocked on entering to be greeted by a policeman. Then the girl asked for a $7 cover charge, and on second glance, I realized the “policeman” was some kind of rent-a-cop there to provide security for the club.

There’s a main stage where dancers do a two song set, usually topless by the second song, then a second stage where they go to do two more songs. The songs appear to be cut to about 2 minutes. The music is very loud, and the DJ is the typical obnoxious asshole DJ. Dollar tips at the stage are rewarded with various degrees of attention from the dancer including some light contact.
