A Visit To Old Reliable

Stopped by the Pink Palace on my way to better places. For those not familiar, it is a building so bright pink you can see it from the moon. The place is shabby but serviceable, the attached parking lot is ample. The bar is the usual Jersey style - a rectangular bar surrounding a stage that is perhaps two steps up.

Upon entering (during the day) you pay your $10 cover to Maria and she brings you your choice of water or soda. Neither is very good. Its a BYOB place.

There are usually 5 to 10 women circulating for tips while one person is on stage swaying slowly to whatever music is on. The tip walk here can be brutal - plan on going through $20-30 in a hslf hour if you’re not careful. As mentioned by myself and every other reviewer these women are not top shelf. They tend to be on the older side. The wise man calls ahead to check the schedule, does his research here, and figures out who he wants to see.
