The private room thing

First time visiting Foxys. I visit Austin often and frequent other bars in the area, but this one I have driven by many times as it is right by my hotel. The outside always looked cheap and dated so there was nothing to lure me in before. I just had a free night so I thought I would give it a try. It was a Thursday night, which is the get in for $20 night so that was a plus. Watch out for the huge potholes as you pull in off the service road. First impressions is why can't they fill those in? Not a good sign. Not many cars at 10, opened at 9.

Door girl was super friendly and filled me in on things. Had to buy a VIP wristband for $25 to get dances. Dancers can set their own prices. That should have been my first clue. Found a seat close to the stage. Many pretty girls, mostly Cuban of course these days. One super hot white girl.

Club is better on the inside than out. the lay out was good with 3 potential stages as it gets busy. VIP is up a long stairway, kinda hard to do every time. It is all open with no privacy. It is large with many seats. Byob so no drinking was involved for me. No smoking at first which I really liked and the other nude club I go to is a huge ashtray so was hoping for fresh air, but as the night went on so did the smokers come in. Music was good, lighting was ample. Girls all just sitting on their phones. They almost all did come by and hustle for a dance, but I was getting acclimated and wanted to see all the girls dance first and make a good lap dance choice.

Finally, opted for the hot blonde white girl. Super sexy and can really dance. But this is where the night went sideways. She tried to start the dance in the middle of a song! I hate that. Such a scam and a real turn off. I asked to wait and she did. The as she sat in my lap I reached for the boobs and was turned away! No touching boobs except in the private dance rooms? What kind of crap is that? The lap dance was super boring and I couldn't wait to get it over with and waste $20. I was hoping it was just that I picked the wrong girl, so I tried a very sexy dark skinned Cuban girl with a perfect body. She had stopped at my table several times asking for a dance. Got a little aggressive when I kept say no, but I was hoping that was going to be a good thing but it wasn't. The dance was choppy. Moving from one position to another, kept asking me if I like it. The whole time trying to sell me the private room thing again.

The private room thing is $60 for 30 minutes in a room with a open door just off the seating area by the stages. They have timers above the door, which I haven't seen before. The girl charges $300 for her to start. The other club in town I go to does this too, so I have seen it before. To hear the dancers talk about it, the gates to heaven will open in there or something? I have been around long enough to know if it sounds to good to be true it probably is! I may be wrong and I will never know unless someone fills me in. I am not going to pay $300 for a semi private area in a strip club. Maybe I am just cheap or have a little self dignity? I could have someone in my hotel for an hour for less if that was my thing. I just don't think a dancer, especially ones that give terrible lap dances and won't let you touch the boobs in public is not going to do anything special for $300. Maybe it is an Austin thing? I know other clubs have VIP and maybe occasionally with the right girl things progress? I would love to hear from someone that has tried these rooms out first hand a fill me in.
