One week review.
Hey everyone, just got back from a week in El Paso visiting family and handling some personal business, and I ended up checking out Bucks Gentleman’s Club almost every day from August 24-29, mostly between 6 PM and 10 PM, with one daytime visit on Friday. Here’s my take on the place based on the different days and vibes—hope it helps anyone considering a visit.
Setup and Basics: The club’s got a $10 cover before 10 PM, and you go through a metal detector at the door, which is pretty standard. They’re strict about it being 21+, and they scan your ID every single time, which feels a bit invasive for privacy if you’re a regular. The layout’s decent: main stage up front, a double-pole side stage by the bar to the left, and the VIP area is tucked away in the back right corner. No extra fee for VIP access, but dances are $25 per song. Drinks are reasonable—$4 domestic beers and $8 for mixed drinks like Tito’s, which I stuck with most nights. There’s also a patio facing the freeway, which isn’t bad for a breather.
Monday (6 PM): Rolled in on a Monday, and man, the place was dead. Barely any customers, and the talent was seriously lacking. Mostly Hispanic dancers, as expected for El Paso, with a couple of African American dancers walking around. Nothing caught my eye, so I grabbed a drink, hung out for a bit, and left. Not much to say—slow night, low energy.
