Nice waypoint between Myrtle Beach and home
Was coming home from Myrtle Beach and decided I should stop in before dealing with I-40. It's only about 10 minutes out of the way, so I excused it as a needed driving break.
Getting to the place can be confusing. You turn off the main road, but then have to go either through a bit of a residential area or past a restaurant and hotel on the service road before you get there. Parking lot was clean, though it could definitely use a resurfacing. No complaints about the outside - I felt like the area was safe if not exactly lively.
Walking in you check in with the hostess on your right before going through the main doors tot he club. This puts you into a corner of the club with the bar over to your left, the main stage ahead and mostly to your left, and the VIP rooms to your right. The place looked clean, the lighting was high enough that I didn't feel like they were trying to hide issues with carpets, furniture, or walls. Generally, the darker the club keeps the lights, the more it's in need of a thorough cleaning if not a complete renovation - at least that's been my experience. Bartender's nickname was "Mini", maybe "Minnie", I didn't really catch the spelling. She and the waitresses were friendly and welcoming.
