Slow Day but One Dynamo Dancer

I visited Tropical Lei on Thursday afternoon July 3, 2025 (day before holiday) between about 1:45 and 3 pm. They open at 1. The club is in a mostly commercial area on the north side of Foothill blvd toward the western end of Upland. I had previously been here in the fall of 2023. There is parking in front of the club and in a lot to the east. It’s a long rather narrow rectangular building with the entrance near the middle of the long side. The marquee which is known for its snarky messages this time merely said “nude dancers”. Entering one pays a $20 cover. No security stuff. Entering one’s required to buy one non-alcoholic drink for $7. I had a generic bottle of water. Was given 1’s in change for a 20.

There is a square stage with a single pole and the surface of the stage recessed somewhat below the level of the tip rail. Ceilings are low so not much pole length for dance tricks. About 15 seats at the tip rail. Some bench seats opposite the stage and a few small tables and chairs nearby. Stage was occupied by dancers most of the time and they got nude usually pretty early in their sets. There are some flashing lights etc but not extravagant. Didn’t see any improvements since my previous visit. Didn’t use the restroom but I remember it as very small.

There were about 6 customers and an equal number of dancers . The dancers seemed divided about half heavy and half thin. The heavy ones included big breasts. Two of these appeared to be Latina and one white. Quite a few tattoos on the dancers. The thin dancers included two who appeared to be white and one other about whom I will say a lot later. They were mostly upper 20’s or so.
