What makes Scandalo great

After learning weekdays are the best time to visit Scandalo I went on a thursday evening. A few times prior I went on weekends (Fri thru Sun) and yes it was slower, sunday being the slowest.

The club - When you arrive you drive up to a semi basement entrance, where security pats you down and then you take the elevator to the first floor where there a bunch of counters. You walk up they check and make a copy of your I.D.. A photo of your passport photo page on your phone will do. This works at all clubs. Then you get your a card that you charge for drinks/food/room. You get BRL$ 300 for consumables (use or lose), and after 7pm there is an additional BRL $200 cover. With current favorable rates BRL $500 is around 90 USD, the best it has been. You pay on your way out after verifying your card charges.

Once you enter , this place is big, one of the largest bordellos in the world. Posh interiors. There is a lobby with seating, a big restaurant to the side, then a large central room with plenty of tables with sofa chairs, a big bar to one side and a stage at the end where there is usually a live band on weekdays. Then there is a small gaming room with a pool table and video games that leads to a nice outdoor area with another bar and more seating areas. Outdoor area is a smoking and there are plenty of smokers usually.
