A little Monday fun at La Pearl

I arrived at La Pearl a little after 6pm on a Monday. The club is in a residential area in West Philly. It has two clubs- La Pearl on the first floor and Outer Space on the 2nd floor. A $10 cover gets you into both clubs.

La Pearl is a long, narrow bar, where you get lap dances on the bar stools, right out in the open. No stage. Just women roaming up and down the bar in various stages of undress, asking if you are dancing. Outer Space is a wider room with a bar at the far end and a long bench that runs the length of the room on the right. Same "mo" as downstairs at La Pearl, although it does have a stage that dancers will very occasionally dance on for tips.

The price of dances is not clear. For a long time it was $5/song out of a jukebox. But the rate seems to have migrated to $10/song, although many dancers with still be cool with $5.
