Wednesday afternoon early exit.

The Landing Strip in Romulus has become my go-to club whenever I'm in SE Michigan. Was passing through early on a Wednesday afternoon and the parking lot seemed fuller than usual. Turned my keys over to the valet and proceeded up the stairs. Music was loud and the cigarette smell was present but not overwhelming. Two girls dancing on stage and four others were sitting around in booths. Maybe up to 10 patrons on the premises. I prefer the bar locations as the stools easily rotate for a 360 view of the club. Beer was about $8, -$10 with tip. One bar girl was hotter than any dancer that day.

I also like the bar location because it is right at the spot where girls climb down from the stage. A smile from me is usually enough to get them to come over. As planned, H****en came over after her dance. She's a short AA spinner with a great bod. I estimate she is in her early 20's. She ordered a salad for lunch and we chatted about nothing and everything to kill time before the salad arrived. It took at least 15 minutes for H****en to finish the salad. Seemed she was more interested in spending money than making it on this visit. I've had dances with her before and they are top notch, but on this day, the long wait killed my mood. With no other viable prospects working this day, I cut my losses and headed out into the bright Romulus sunlight. An uneventful visit, but I'll be back.

Oh, I can confirm that there's no cover during afternoons, entry to the LD area is still $20, but dances can vary between $25 and $50 depending on the girl. Sorry, but $50 is not a reasonable Detroit area price. Mandatory valet is $7. Sorry, I didn't ask and don't have prices for other menu items, but rumor has it that it's a full menu.
