The Lodge on Wednesday.
I was in Dallas for work and found myself with a free Wednesday night — not exactly prime time for nightlife, but I figured I’d check out The Lodge, since it came highly recommended by a couple locals. Expectations were mild… reality though is Way better.
First off, this place is a vibe. It’s got the feel of a high-end hunting lodge crossed with a gentlemen’s club — think wood beams, dim lighting, mounted deer, and velvet everything. Somehow it works. It’s classy without trying too hard, and the moment you step in, you can tell it’s not your typical neon-drenched strip joint.
Cover was reasonable — $15, ID Check— and security was quick and professional. No hassle, just a check and in. For a Wednesday night, I was surprised at the energy inside. The crowd was non existent, mostly regulars who clearly knew the scene.
Now, the dancers: absolute standouts. There were around 6–7 working that night, and every single one brought something different to the table — some were sultry and smooth, others high-energy and playful. But all of them had that polished, confident stage presence that makes you forget what day of the week it is.
Drink prices were a bit on the upscale side, but the cocktails were solid, and service was fast. No watered-down nonsense here.
