Recently won over to the idea that the Vegas clubs are better during the day, I decided to visit the OG on a Friday afternoon around 4:30 or so. The admission is free until 6:00 p.m., the Heinekens are just $4 (again until 6:00 p.m.), and you can use the curtain enclosed booths without paying any extra fees ($20 a dance – again until 6:00 p.m.).

I had several dances with Skyla, who was visiting from Arizona. She was there because there was a big NASCAR race in town. Fortunately, the NASCAR fans were still at the race, so the dancer-to-customer ratio was decidedly in my favor. I had about six dances with Skyla at the standard rate. We happened to finish up a few minutes before 6:00 p.m., so I didn't find out if they would have kicked us out of the booth or upped the rate for any dances after the deadline had passed.

On the ride back to the hotel, even the cab driver commented on how much of a better deal the clubs are in the afternoon.
