Looking at Las Toxicas compared to Chicas Bonitas

I have been in Vegas in a year, so this is my first visit to CC since it wasn’t open last year. As others have described fairly, physically this is a very nice club – clean, modern, well designed and very upscale for a SC. It seems that all the dancers are Latina, many recent immigrants from Cuba, Venezuela, etc. Dancer English skills varied very widely from virtually no English to good proficiency. I ended up interacting with both.

Arrived about 8 pm Sunday evening (yesterday) and cover was $5. Pleasant woman at the door explained cover is $5 during the day (6am-8pm), then $10 from 8 to midnight and $25 from midnight to 6 am ($25 for everyone including locals, I’m non-local.) Brief ID check and then light pat down by two tall, muscular guys who were dressed like SWAT team members or military in combat – a bit stunning. What is this about? Is something about violence in LV clubs (or maybe just SCs) that I should know about? Does anyone know?

Walked in, most of the dancers sitting at tables you need to pass to get into the club. Got several Holas, Hey baby, etc. but proceeded. At the bar, barmaid quickly took my order for a Bud bottle -- $9. Before it arrived (45-60 seconds) 2 dancers were all over me. Their third team member arrived a minute later. Hugs, kissed, boob flashes and heavy push for “Baile!” Pretty overwhelming especially since none of the 3 can speak any English and they aren’t patient enough to listen to my slow, halting Spanish. Sounds like the starting offer from them is a four way dance with $150 going to each of the three -- $450 but I’m not sure for what, one dance, one hour, 10 minutes. It doesn’t matter I’m supposed to agree. I remain polite but have no interest. This goes on for 10-15 minutes. They are laughing, giggling and talking in Español (probably about me, but I don’t care.) I’m also finding the situation pretty amusing but they won’t stop. At one point, they leave to accost a newly arriving custie. I breathe a sigh of relief but they return quickly and now they tell me I have to go back with them because they had been ”waiting for me” and I owed them. It was all pretty bizarre. I don’t know if this behavior is common here.
