DC is EXPENSIVE!!!!
Let's start with some context. I bring and pay with cash only and will never go beyond what I brought. I was bringing cash based on the prices I am used to but boooy was I underestimating the prices here!!!! Upsides are that they have no cover charge. The club venue is cozy, I would call it a hole in the wall type of atmosphere. I would describe it as more of a cabaret style design, a little more old timey looking. This is where the upsides end in my opinion/taste.
The downsides for myself was the PRICES. I spent $39 for my drink of choice, a Long Island Ice Tea, immediately. I think most drinks are from the $30-60 range for rail options. The waitresses were pretty on top of it, immediately going to tables once they get seated. She also pointed out their VIP dance menu. It was $320 for 15 mins, going to up $2100 for an extended dance. I did NOT get one. It was a Saturday night, a bit early but still, it was pretty dead. Dances on the stage are Full Nude. No touching and that was pretty well enforced. Because it was dead the server got a girl to sit with me. Then they have you buy the girl a drink which is another way they try to drain money from you. I had a good time talking to the girl I was with and she was mostly keeping me engaged. Honestly that was the highlight of the club for me was talking to her.
Overall I liked the girls. Most had a lot of tattoos, if that's your thing. They were also mostly Black or Latina the night I was there. I just have to say most girls where NOT my type but also not objectively unattractive. However they were mostly keeping to themselves and did not engage with patrons on their own. That kind of ruins the vibe in my opinion because it kinda felt like the ONLY person that was working was the one girl on the main stage most of the time.
