A different but great experience

I have been to the Redroom about 4 times over the past two years. It is usually busy no matter the day or the time. Easy to get to a short distance off US 19. Plenty of free parking but this night was crowded. It was about 9pm. Step down to get in, pay $10 cover to door girl at counter to left. You enter to a long bar that runs to the left and right. Across from the bar is extra seating forming an aisle. The stage is low and small and to the far right.

In past visits I had never been inclined to stay long. Drinks are , $6 or $7 for a beer. I would tip the dancers but never a good vibe. In the past there have been a fair amount of dancers but none that caught my attention. I’d check it out, drink my beer and leave.

But tonight was different. I found an empty bar stool to the left of the entrance. No longer than the time it took to get a beer, a grade 5 spinner that had been sitting in a nearby booth by herself, approached me. With a hand on my shoulder, she out of the gate told me $85 for a room, $200 for her and we would have a great time. She looked like she had a hard a hard day and a long shift. I had to pass.

After sitting for a while, I needed to visit the restroom. It was clean. The club was full and though it was hard to get a count, I would guess between 15 and to 20 dancers. They were a variety of sizes, shapes and colors. As clubs go, the dancers were 5’s and 6’s. If there was something higher there they were hanging out or working in the back.

As I made my way to the restroom, a customer stopped me and ask if I knew him. When I came out of the restroom he stopped me again and asked if I wanted to have a seat at the end of the bar near the stage. As we sat and talked, an AA dancer in her 30’s sat down next to me. My new friend introduced her but I forget her name. As other dancers past by, they would stop and he would introduce them. He pointed out other dancers in the club giving me a run down on each one.
