On its last life?

Been to Pussy Cat many times over the last couple of decades. It had always been the most reliable club on The Block for me. However, times have changed.

The Block is Baltimore’s famous strip club street. A few decades ago there were over twenty clubs here. Now there are about 15. It’s hard to keep track — clubs will shutter for months or years and then suddenly re-open. But the numbers seem to be trending downward. Several of the clubs have burned down.

While most of The Block clubs used to feature mostly white girls, now most of the clubs are black. Pussy Cat, Circus, and Indulge (day shift) are the only “white” clubs left. Not to say that all the girls are white. A white club now means that about half are white.
