Ecstasy On A Saturday Night

First the basics - Cover was $10 with a 2 drink [@ $7 each] minimum. Not a big deal as $20 is basically what everyone else charges. Layout is straight-forward with the entrance leading to seating and the stage, which is a basic two-pole layout. Private rooms, bathrooms and the bar are on the left in that order.

The club feels like a classic strip club. While the space itself is pretty large, it feels a bit more comfortable and intimate. Ecstasy is an independent club, so there are fewer girls working at any given time and there seems to be less of the hustle than you get at other LA clubs. For example, I never got hustled to "buy a girl a drink" the moment her butt touched the seat next to me. If/when I find a favorite girl, it's a good spot to get to know her a bit.

So, I arrived at about 8:30 [just after shift change] on a Saturday and I was the only guy there. There might have been a half-dozen girls. I wasn't mobbed the moment I sat down, which was a nice change. They started up the dance rotation when I arrived, so I got to see the full rotation. They were mostly Caucasian with a Latina and an AA mixed in. All about 7s, so no one I was really interested in a private dance with.
