Monday Afternoon Fun
Much has been written about the layout of the place. It’s a pink building on the side of a busy highway right next to a dealership and down the road from an Amazon and Target fulfillment center. Ample parking during the day. No one at the door during the day collecting the “cover”, but $10 gets your water or a soft drink as it’s a BYOB joint. I didn’t bring alcohol, so I just took my water.
Rectangular bar with seating all around and the stage in the middle. Dancers are up for a few songs and then come around for the typical dollar parade. Private rooms are on the perimeter with doors that leave about 18 inches of viewing at the bottom. Cameras are there and there’s someone calling out the number of dances in your particular room over the speakers as songs go by. Dances are $30/4 min song.
I got in around 2:45 on a Monday and wasn’t planning on spending a long time. It was my first time at the Pink Palace and kinda just wanted to understand the layout and experience. There were probably 2 other patrons when I got there, with 3 dancers sitting by the door and a few circulating. Was approached by one dancer who wasn’t really my speed so I told I was just checking things out. Gave her a couple of dollars and she went on her way. Then I was approached by Kiera who gave me enough of a barside tug to convince me to go back with her. She’s a middle aged Brazilian with a nice enough body but she was eager to please in the room. Ample 2-way roaming and she encouraged me to take advantage. Total of 4 songs and I got the standard PH shake plus a little Russian as well. Gave her a $20 tip and was on my way.
