Don't show up on a tuesday

I haven't been to the Jet Strip in a decade. In my memory it was a bustling club with interestingly girls slightly outside of the normal mold that one might find a few blocks away at the Bare Elegance. In practice, these things never quite live up to our memories. I went by twice on a tuesday. First time was quickly in the afternoon, which you expect to be quiet - got a couple of lap dances with a cute latina, but had to go.

The second time was tuesday night, which as has been politely pointed out to me is often the most dead night, but still was surprised to only have 3-4 dancers at 11 pm, only occasionally rotating onto the stage without much energy and enthusiasm. After a long rather boring time I got a private dance from a pretty black dancer. One improvement compared to my memory is that the private rooms were very private, and she was very clear about what sort of extras were available; she didn't seem that into the whole process, though so I just settled on some leisurely groping and grinding.

On the plus side, the club does feel cozy and comfortable and overall lives up to its tagline of friendliness, and the food was quite good. On a busier evening it would probably be a lot of fun, but on the site nights, below critical mass.
