Some Wednesday evening fun at Delilahs's

I had a free evening and after a little research on the website, decided that this place might be a favorable place for some fun. It's a pretty small and unpretentious building on a side street off of the main drag in Manville in what seems to be at least a partial residential area. Street parking was available -- seemed like a safe neighborhood.

Came into the building and there is a vestibule where I guess an attendant would be positioned on a busy night. At 8:00 pm on this particular Wednesday, there was not one there. The rest rooms are sort of straight ahead off of this vestibule. There is a room off to the left and own some stairs that appears to be under construction. The main area is off to the right. So I entered that room and a bouncer/manager type came over to the vestibule area and charged me $20 cover that got me a bottle of water.

The main room is a very wide room with a wide oval stage in the center. There are a few poles on the stage, a row of chairs that go around the stand and then there a sets of two chairs and small round tables set off back from the stage. There is a small "pit-like" area on the left-hand side of the stage -- not sure of it's use -- and the entrance to the private dance rooms are to the right part of the room passed where the stage ends. This is where the bouncer and another helper (sitting on a motorized scooter) were stationed.
