Vic's Place in Irvington. I would never have gone to all the trouble of finding this place if it hadn't been for the intriguing reviews of policecar, danD.dick, and makaveli. Cuz Irvington is way out of my normal hunting range. THANKS YOU GUYS, YOU TOLD THE TRUTH. Perhaps there are some not-so-nice areas in Irvington - I dunno. But the street where Vic's Place is located seemed very ordinary and middle-classs. Not fancy, not slummy. Near an elementary school and in a mixed residential and small business area. No problem finding street parking, and felt safe on the sidewalk. Arrived about 2 pm, paid no cover charge, bought a $4 beer.

Shortly I noticed a so-so dancer being helped off the stage due to the fact that she was totally drunk. Another one took her place. About five girls were talking to customers, one was giving a lap dance in the open. The stage dancing was nothing to write home about, beings itsa bikini bar. Soon a slim attractive lady came up to me. We chatted for about 30 seconds. Money was never mentioned. I slipped her a $5, put one arm around her waist, and went inside her bra with the free hand. She seemed to like that, and pretty quick I noticed her hand was in my pants, so I returned the favor. To facilitate things I slid off the bar stool and stood for the rest of the encounter. Things got intense pretty quickly, my middle finger got real wet, then I got this silly grin on my face, and made appropriate groans of satisfaction. Gave her a $20. She was all smiles and small talk for another five minutes. There must be a rule against the girls asking for money here. Odd. One interesting aspect, and I was prepared for this from reading the previous reviews, is that none of the other customers sitting close by paid the slightest attention to our intimate encounter. Since they didn't mind, I didn't either. In fact I felt a liberated by the casual laid-back atmosphere.

Not everybody would care much for this place, but I loved the ambience and will definitely be back the next time I get to the Greater Newark Area of New Jersey.
