It's been a long time...

Was in the Indianapolis area for the first time in over 15 years. Back in the early 2000s, I was able to get here during the few nights I was in town for a semi regular business trip....meaning I have a fairly long history with Brad's. It's changed over the years. I remember when the "VIP" area was a mere $50 per half hour. Granted that was then and money is worth less now. But I also remember the price doubled by 2008 -the last time I was here.

Back then the "VIP" was an open room with tall bench seats lining the walls. That room looks to be semi private rooms sectioned off with curtains. I didn't go in, so I can't say for sure how private things were.

Back to now. I arrived about 10:30pm on Friday night. Parking lots on east and west side of the building were pretty full but I was able to get a spot near the door. Entrance is on the east side and I walked in and was met by the doorman. Paid $10 and then presented my ID after which I was wanded down by another doorman. Bar was directly across from the entrance with bathrooms just to the right. The stage, seating and VIP areas were all to the left of the entrance. The interior seems to have changed over the many years since I've been in there. If I remember correctly, against the east wall, there was a raised area with tables. Now, except for bar seating, all seats are on the same level.
