An fantastic time, with a brilliant woman.

I had Friday off of work, so I went to Club Desire in the afternoon, getting there around 1pm. Since I got there early, there was no cover charge. I had a couple of cokes (I'm not an alcohol drinker, sorry), that were 6 a piece. The client crowd definitely skewed a certain demographic, but I'm not too concern about the customer base. It was generally very safe, which I appreciate. I also appreciated that the parking was free, and even the security guard when i walked in was quite friendly.

A lot of the crowd there were regulars, judging by how the bartender, bouncers, managers, and every one else knew them by name. So, as someone there for the first time, I definitely felt somewhat left out for a little bit. But, I get it, the girls make their money off the regulars. So, I just watched, and listened, and just enjoyed the time there. Quick warning about the lights above the stage, sometimes when they spin, they shine directly at the bar, and it can be kinda blinding, so be aware of that.

After an hour or two watching, I was about ready to leave. Most of the dancers were, frankly, incredibly boring and low energy. I chalk it up to being the afternoon, so whatever. But, as I was getting ready to leave, a string of really incredible dancers came up, and that got me to stick around.
