Was in El Paso for work...
Was in El Paso for work and decided to give the Parrot a try. It's pretty far out of town, but easy enough to get to. It is next to a truck stop, but did not strike me as a Trucker Bar type of place. I printed a coupon from their website, so no cover. This is a topless club, so they serve alcohol. Beers were $5.50. I bought a couple of mixed drinks and shots for dancers, and they seemed to be $5 - $6 as well.
Dances are $20, which is a good deal since they do not cut the songs and there is plenty of two-way contact.
It's fairly nice on the inside, but as with El Paso, basic chairs unless you are in the VIP area. There is a main stage immediately in front of you as you enter with tables around three sides. The VIP is an elevated area behind the main stage. It has tables and the same chairs, but there are built-in couches around the outside for dances. There is an additional $10 cover to enter the VIP. The nice thing is that you have a great view of the stage (and the rest of the club) from the tables in the VIP area.
There is a long bar to the right of the stage and a couple of pool tables and video games near the bar. There is also a small satellite stage. It is a fairly large club and the main stage is very big with a couple of polls.
