Not Like The Old Days, But Not Bad
I dropped by Brad’s Brass Flamingo on a Thursday night, and overall, it was a solid experience. It’s one of the better-known clubs in Indy, and it had a decent crowd without feeling overcrowded. Parking is easy—there’s a decent-sized lot right outside. Cover was $10, which is about what you’d expect.
Inside, the place is spacious with a long stage with 3 poles. Throughout the couple of hours there they had 2 girls at a time on individual poles, so there’s always something going on. The rail wasn't overcrowded. Guys would pop over there when their favorite girl hits the stage but I find it as an easy way to get a quick test run and show some interest if you like a girl.
The lighting and music are what you’d expect—not too dark, not too loud. The crowd was a mix of locals, regulars, and a few groups just out for a fun night. Drink prices were reasonable—$5-$6 for beers, $7-$10 for cocktails, depending on what you get. Private dances started at $25 per song, which feels pricey if you went here back in the day, but is pretty standard these days. They were running a 2/$40 special when I got there, which I think ended at 7p. If you want more privacy, you’re looking at $100+ for VIP dances, depending on length/privacy that number shoots up faster than... well let's just say it's fast.
