This was my first visit to Molly's Gemini Room. It had been on my radar ever since the titular Molly left another club to do the near impossible in today's world - open a new gentleman's joint in Salt Lake. Well she did it and actually won first place in the alternative weekly's best gentleman's club category. Impressive, but there are caveats.

MGR is just north of downtown SLC, right next to the freeway. If you're exiting from the freeway on 600 North, you actually have to pull of an acrobatic jacknife U-turn to turn into the place as it's on a frontage road that shadow parallels 600 North.

Despite it being situated in an industrial area, apparently there are too many residences nearby for it to get a sexually-oriented business license. This means that dancers can only wear bra/bikini tops (not even pasties like other strip clubs that serve alcohol) and thongs as they dance on stage.
