I stopped by Silver Cricket on my way back from the airport one Friday evening. As I pulled into the parking lot, I was surprised to see it nearly half full. Arriving around 6:30, I noticed the club was bustling; every bar stool on the right was occupied, and all the booths along the back wall were taken as well. Even the tables near the stage had a good number of patrons. It was standing room only when I got there, but after about ten minutes, I managed to snag a table near the bathroom. After settling in, I waited a bit for a waitress to take my order. As I relaxed, I observed a diverse crowd of women of various sizes and backgrounds, including a mix of white and African American women, though I couldn't recall the names of the heavier set women, as they weren't my usual type. I struck up conversations with some of the young ladies around me and nothing new really interested me. I noticed a staple that had been there for a while, and I wasn't keen on returning to VIP with someone I've already taken back multiple times. Decided to cut my losses and time. Drank a beer and left.
