First Time at Chicas

My first time in Chicas, I got there around 6PM. There were a few parking spots along the side of the building and a dirt lot in the back. It seemed less than ideal but as it was early, I got a space not far from the entrance. When I entered, the door man asked for my ID and patted me down for weapons (pretty standard). At 6 there was no cover charge but I think at night they charge a $10 cover.

I grabbed a $6 import beer from the bar as I entered. As I entered, the bar is the first thing on the right, the stage is against the left wall about 2/3 of the way down the main area. Tables and chairs are scattered around the stage and there are dance booths on the right, opposite the stage. They don’t offer much privacy but they are just off the main area. On the left as I entered, across from the bar, there was a VIP section. There were signs saying $20 entrances fee. I didn’t inquire about it but I imagine the mileage is better there.

After I got my beer, I sat at a table near the stage to watch a couple of dances and scope out the talent. The dancers were a mix of 5s to a couple of 9s. A couple girls asked for dances as I watched the stage show. No one was super pushy but they were still coming around offering dances, which I like. The atmosphere was a kind of slow, I guess since there were probably a couple more dancers than patrons and the evening hadn’t kicked off yet.
